OUR Means

1- Initiation of awareness raising campaigns and training to build the capacities of the local communities to enable them to identify and deal with local environment issues .

 2- Encouraging surveys, studies and scientific research to propose suitable solution for the environmental problems .

 3- Conducting workshops and seminars about the current environmental problems in close coordination with the relevant authorities .

4- Income generating schemes to grantee the sustainability of the organization ( SECS Kosti) I-e Internet caf? social marketing project for idolized salt, plants, nursery, forest Natural corporation .

6- Creating an environmental and community development centre that would host the society and provide services .

7- Combating Malaria through awareness raising, community mobilization, and health days providing lab services Doctors and treatment , Distribution of impregnated mosquito bed nets - Agreement with UNCEF (2001-2002). Now the program is sustainable through partnerships with other stakeholders.

8- Combating Iodine deficiency disorders (IDD) through raising of awareness training courses ,workshops, seminars and implementing social marketing project for Iodized salt

9- Improving of health state of tuberculoses HIV\AIDS patient and malnourished children in 5 hospitals in White Nile State through food distribution family ration (Agreement with WFP) .

10- Income generating project for poor tuberculoses women patient .

11- Establishing a training centre for the children with special needs .

12- Last year after the heavy rain falls and floods SECS Kosti took the initiative to combat Hemorrhagic fever ( Rift valley fever ) conducted a campaign in collaboration with international, local NGOs, private sector, and government .It included symposiums in the different places, spraying of affected areas, distribution of mosquito bed nets, and environmental rehabilitation (garbage collection and sanitation)

14-  Recently SECS ? KB signed an agreement with UNFPA for combating HIV\AIDS in White Nile State the project includes (Annual work plan is attached ) .
